Holiday Fun at Liberty Center (and where to buy cabin socks)!
A visit to Liberty Center will lift your spirits for the holidays. One of the things I love most about Liberty Center is that you can find something there that appeals to everyone. Whether you want to enjoy some festive family time, have a date night or just enjoy a fun night out with friends, Liberty Center has you covered. During the holiday season there is plenty to enjoy.
We had so much fun at the Holiday Tree Lighting and Parade this year. After the parade, the beautiful and very large tree located in The Park was lit up and we got to see a wonderful light show set to holiday music. It is something to see. Inside the tree, you can walk through a nativity scene. Be sure to stop by the outdoor Liberty Express mini train display too. The holiday light show runs 6-10 p.m. daily on the hour through Christmas Eve.
After visiting the tree, head indoors to The Living Room where Santa is waiting. Here you can get pictures with Santa or just sit and relax. We even were treated to some caroling from festively dressed up singers. Upstairs, kids can play in the Cincinnati Children's Discovery Center. To make your night even more special, take the kids on a horse-drawn carriage ride (weekends only). Rides are only $10 per adult and kids 15 and under are FREE when going with an adult.
Of course you can't visit Liberty Center without enjoying some holiday shopping. If you have tweens or teens, the gift to get this year is cabin socks. Dick's Sporting Goods is your one-stop shop for cabin socks. We were lucky to get there for a BOGO deal. There are plenty of displays and choices throughout the store. Give yourself some extra shopping time, if you have the shoppers with you. I never knew sock selection was such a difficult and time intensive process.
I was even able to do a little shopping for myself with a visit to Rose & Remington. I love this store. It has a mix of clothing and household decor and the displays are beautifully set up. I purchased the red sweater on the wall to the left of my cute models.
We rounded out our fun night at Liberty Center, with a to-go order of cheesecake. It was great seeing the girls faces break into big grins as we spontaneously raced over to the Cheesecake Factory where they selected which cheesecake they wanted (also a difficult decision).
I hope you'll get a chance to visit Liberty Center this holiday season. There is so much to see and do. Happy holidays!
