Rock Climbing

Both my girls love rock climbing.  This can be a great family activity and a good way to use those muscles that you don't normally use.   Living in Mason, we're lucky since we have two rock climbing facilities - one at the Mason Community Center and one at Lifetime Fitness (memberships are required to use the facilities).

Blue Ash Recreation Center

The climbing wall is open to the public during open climb times.  Currently only $5 for a day pass (includes equipment). The climbing wall can also be reserved for parties or special events. Waivers must be signed by parents or guardians for anyone under the age of 18.

7,000 sq ft of climbing facilities. All skill levels welcomed. See their website for waiver info (can fill out online), directions, rates and hours. Available for parties and overnights. 

Lifetime Fitness (members only)

They have an awesome rock climbing area. You have to be 5 years old to climb. There are open rock climbing times but you have to be a member to use the rock-climbing wall.

Mason Community Center

The MCC has so much to offer for families.  They have a rock climbing wall with an exergaming area. Memberships are available or you can also pay a day rate to use the rock climbing wall (contact the MCC for current rate information). 

RockQuest Climbing Center

At RockQuest to belay, you need to be at least 13 years old. They offer birthday parties, climbing club and summer camps. Waivers must be on completed as well. Youth programs include camps and recreational climbing clubs. Parties can also be reserved.
