A Night Out at Liberty Center

Having Liberty Center so close to Mason has been wonderful. It has been my "go-to" spot for happy hour with girlfriends, shopping with my girls and finally enjoying a night out with my husband. Let's face it, combining after school activities with weekend sporting events, job responsibilities and daily household chores, makes it hard to find time just for two.

Liberty Center has some great entertainment options to make planning a night out easy peasy. If you've never visited Cobb Liberty Luxury & Cinébistro, treat yourself. Enjoy cocktails, appetizers, dinner and a movie all in one spot. There are two sides to the theatre. Cobb Liberty Luxury is open to all ages. Here you can purchase food and drinks at the Cobbster's Kitchen and Bar and take them into the theatre. Since we were sans kids (high fives all around), we headed to the 21+ Cinébistro.

Give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the full Cinébistro experience. They suggest arriving at least 30 minutes prior to showtime but if you want to get a drink at their cool bar, come even earlier. They'll announce when it's time to go to your movie. Once seated, your servers will go over the menu and take your orders. You can order drinks, appetizers, main courses, desserts, popcorn and candy. It's like going to a nice restaurant but instead of sitting in a hardback chair, you're sitting in a fancy fully reclining seat.

Our food was delicious. It was fresh and hot and came out fairly quickly from the kitchen. As soon as you place your order, it is electronically sent to the kitchen. The servers were efficient and attentive. Once the movie starts, they just let you enjoy the show so be sure to order everything you'll need from the start. Now all you'll need to do is sit back and enjoy the show.

Liberty Center also has many other great options for a nice dinner out. Some of my favorites are:

  • Kona Grill - They have an awesome happy hour from 4-7 (M-F). This is one of my favorite spots for a Girls Night Out. Sit in the upstairs bar area. On Wednesdays, all bottles of wine are half off.

  • Cantina Laredo - If you are in the mood for some modern Mexican, this is the place to be and I love the decor.

  • Cooper's Hawk - Wine tasting anyone?

  • Brio Tuscan Grille - Serving delicious Italian dishes, perfect for larger parties too.

  • Cheesecake Factory - Cheesecake! Need I say more?

Giveaways - How do they work?

From time to time, MasonMetu has some wonderful giveaways - it could be a product or tickets to an event. Many times, the company providing the giveaway to our readers, also graciously gives my family tickets to the event in exchange for MasonMetu posting about the giveaway and helping with promotion. I will always disclose if my family has received tickets and/or a product for us to keep.  We also have sponsored posts whereby a company may compensate MasonMetu for the time it takes to post a giveaway, promote it and select a winner. The opinions expressed in a blog post are my own opinions.
