Enjoying Back to School Shopping at Liberty Center
Back to school shopping is a big deal. It's quite an event especially for tween girls heading into middle school. As a kid, I remember being so excited looking through the back to school ads and deciding on what I needed to start the new school year. Even with all the technological advances, it's nice to see that my girls are doing some of the same planning that I did - old school style, writing it down with pen & paper! We give them a back to school clothes budget and they have to prioritize what they'd like to buy. Of course, having back to school start in August means you can get some great deals on end of season clearance items (my kind of shopping).
Lucky for us, Liberty Center is close and offers plenty of stores catering to teens & tweens. The Foundry Mall has such a cool vibe and if your kids enjoy shopping in a posse, you can sit back and relax in their inviting "living room" area. Filled with comfortable chairs and couches, the living room is a perfect place to read a book or do some mindless wandering on your cell. Just have them check in with you after visiting a few stores.
I love how Liberty Center has fun promotions going on. We visited during Christmas in July and got a picture with the adorable candy cane ladies. Charlotte Russe was having some great deals - got to love an "up to" 70% off clearance sign.
Old Navy always has great deals. This visit they had 50% off running gear. My oldest runs cross country, so it just made sense to get her some new running items. Of course, if you are in need of new active or running shoes, Foot Locker has plenty to chose from.
If you have a teen/tween, you have been in these stores. Forever 21 has budget friendly clothing and accessories and they had an additional 40% off clearance so Sarah ended up with a cute dress for only $3.99 and a sweatshirt for $4.49. Wow! I'm sure you can recognize the store in the top right pic. Victoria's Secret Pink must have a beacon for tweens since there was no question we were making a stop there. Once again, clearance gave us 30% off a cute zip up sweatshirt. Can anyone guess where the picture with all the accessories was taken? Answer will be at the bottom of the post.
These smiling faces really enjoyed their day of shopping at Liberty Center. I hope you'll get to enjoy a fun-filled back to school shopping day there too.
