Get Fit for Free in Greater Cincinnati!
We all know it's hard to get motivated to exercise. Or maybe we are motivated but don't want to go to a gym and do the same old routine. Lucky for us, there are plenty of FREE fitness opportunities in Greater Cincinnati to enjoy. There are FREE yoga classes, dancing, Zumba classes, walking clubs and more offered this summer. Double check with the venue before heading out in case of inclement weather or possible changes to schedules.
Bridgewater Falls Walking Club - Join the walking club every Tuesday and Thursday anytime from 8:30-10 a.m. Official registration is for Fall & Spring but you you can meet to walk on your own as well. Spring session ends June 29, 2015. Register online. FREE!
Deerfield Towne Center Walking Club - Offered every Monday and Wednesday, you can stop by anytime from 8-10:30 a.m. to join in. They give participants a free t-shirt, fitness band and every week you walk, you can get entered to win a gift card for the Deerfield Towne Center. Plus they have partnered with Countryside YMCA and a fitness trainer is there to help with exercises. I joined this year and have really enjoyed it. FREE Fitness at Summit Park in Blue Ash - If you haven't visited the new Summit Park in Blue Ash, put it on your list of things to do. This beautiful and expansive park has a playground, big open green spaces, paved walking paths, and more. They are offering yoga, ballroom/latin dancing, and Cross-fit classes this summer for FREE. Walk and Be Fit in Symmes Township - Head to Symmes Park (Started June 3) on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. A certified trainer from the Academy of Sports Performance will lead you through the park for this hour long FREE fitness walk. Call Symmes Township for more info: (513) 683-6644. 11600 Lebanon Rd.

Interact for Health Weekend Workout - Washington Park hosts a FREE exercise class every Saturday from 9-10 a.m. Classes offered include yoga, Zumba, Kick Boxing, Total Body Sculpting and more. Check their website for complete listing of classes.

Step It Up Trail Challenge - Great Parks of Hamilton County has a fitness challenge (April 20- Sept, 7, 2015). You will chart your own progress as you traverse various trails in the Great Park system. FREE to join (you will need a valid parking permit to park onsite, only $10 for a yearly pass).
