The Krohn Conservatory is a Cincinnati treasure. If you have visitors coming to the Queen City, add a visit to the Krohn to their itinerary. Or be a tourist in your own city, and visit as well. No matter how many times you visit, there is always something new to see.
This is the Krohn's 20th annual buttefly show. Wow! The theme is Butterflies of the Philippines. "This season, the colorful and exotic Butterflies of the Philippines will preside over a majestic tribute to the marvelous Filipino culture. The showroom will be filled with butterflies soaring among bold displays that will immerse visitors in a sumptuous tropical environment.A large, dramatic mural of an erupting volcano and a wildly cascading waterfall will provide a striking backdrop for many tropical plants such as ornate orchids, brilliant bromeliads, delicate anthuriums and dramatic dracaenas."
