Red Gold Aioli - it's easier than you think!
I say tomatoe you say tomato. I say potatoe you say potato. I say Aioli you say "what"? Don't despair, Red Gold is here to help and show you that making Aioli is easier than you think. Plus all your friends will think you are some gourmet guru when you start adding these dollops of pure yumminess to your wraps, pitas, flatbreads and mores.
First, what is Aioli? Our friends at Red Gold put it best, "Aioli is a versatile flavored mayo that can be used as a sauce, spread, or even a dip." They sent me a clever Aioli making kit complete with recipes, a variety of Red Gold premium diced tomatoes (Garlic & Olive Oil, Lime & Cilantro, Can with Green Chilies), a cute apron, and my very own Aioli spreader.
At first I was nervous thinking, "Can I really make an Aioli"? But, alas the handy recipe card they sent makes it easy peasy. To make a base recipe, you just need to combine a can of Red Gold petite diced tomatoes (drained) and 1/2 cup light mayonnaise and you have created an Aioli. Then mix together in a small bowl and let them refrigerate to meld all the flavors into one delicious spread.
Here are some easy recipes (you can also visit Red Gold online for more recipe ideas):
